2 Second CPS Test
Two seconds is long enough to smooth out a slow start but short enough that fatigue never enters the picture. It's a great duration for practicing technique changes — you can run dozens of attempts in a couple of minutes and watch your average climb.

How to approach the 2 second test
The 2 second test rewards a clean launch: click once to start, and be at full speed by your second click, not your fourth. Because a slow ramp-up costs proportionally less than in the 1 second test, scores here are the most repeatable of the short durations — which makes it the best format for A/B testing changes to your grip, finger, or mouse. Run five attempts with your normal technique, five with the change, and compare averages. Expect numbers a shade below your 1 second peak: 6–8 CPS is typical, 9–11 is very quick, and anything over 12 sustained across both seconds means your technique is already competitive.
